Interpretation of the movie; Interstellar
Why the
father in the movie who went to mars is just a month old while daughter is 18
years older?
The science fiction (Sci-Fi) movie Interstellar, co-written, directed and produced by Christopher Nolan has shown relativity of time through the two different planets. It can be explained through the cell biology and its relation with revolving time period of certain planet.
Taking an example of small cell of our body RBC (Red Blood Cells).
The average life span of Red Blood Cell (RBC) is around 120 days.We also know the time period for earth to complete one revolution is 365 days. From the simple math, the life cycle of RBC is 120/365*100% = 32.87% of the revolution time of the planet.
Here we take MARS as an experimental planet, although it was miller's planet on the movie. Mars takes 687 days to revolve around the sun.
We know RBC takes 32.87%
to complete its one cycle.
So in Mars, RBC matures at 225 days in Mars which is
32.87% of 687 days.
Here on Earth a cell gets matured at 120 days whereas
225 days in Mars. So we will be 105 days younger in Mars than that of earth. It seems that cell has direct relation with period of
revolution. But conclusion is that, cell is affected by the gravitational force
which it experience.
That's why the father in movie Interstellar was younger than his daughter.
